This site is a tribute to the life of Mary Gale who sadly passed away on Friday 27th December 2024, aged 90 years.

Mary will be fondly remembered with love by all her family and friends. She was an inspiration to all who knew her for her courage, generosity, kindness and love. She had a wicked sense of humour, especially when in the company of her grandchildren. 

Mary was married for 70 years to her husband John, she was so proud of all her family, her three sons; Steve, Alan and Wayne, as well as her seven grandchildren and 3 great grand children. Mary loved; supporting Liverpool, following Exeter Chiefs, and occasionally Northampton Saints, buying and winning on her scratchcards, checking her lottery tickets, frequenting many cafes and always getting to know the staff, and she always had jar of jellied snakes or chocolate ready for visitors.

The family would like to make a special mention of appreciation and gratitude to all the wonderful carers and staff at Cross Park (who she fondly called "my girls") for treating Mary with so much kindness and care over the last couple of years.
